Valuable Experience

In order to be a CIT, you must be at least 14 by the end of this year. Please contact Mallory if you have any questions about this.

As a CIT, you will be paired with a counsellor and a group of campers. Your week will be spent hanging out with your group, doing training sessions as a group of CITs, and helping run programs and games with the program team.

Completing the CIT program will give you a good idea of what it's like to work at Golden Lake. It also provides you with valuable training to include on your resume and can count towards your volunteer hours.

The fee to be a CIT is $150 for the week. This fee covers program costs, your room and board, and includes a t-shirt and your tuck (snacks) for the week. Please do not send your money with your application; if you are selected as a CIT you will be asked to bring it with you when you come to camp. If the fee is a problem, please let us know and we will try to work something out.
